The annual Ride & Stride sponsored cycling, horse riding and walking event took place on the 14th September 2019. The money raised goes to the Dorset Historic Churches Trust which then gives grants to Dorset churches. St Nicholas has benefited enormously from this Trust over the years. David and Diana Masters, Mike & Michela Metcalf and Peter Williams participated this year and raised a total of £1,160. This was topped up by £750 raised at the Salisbury Cathedral Choir evening making a grand total of £1,910 to go to the Dorset Historic Churches Trust. Half of this sum will be sent back to our PCC. DHCT are very appreciative of our efforts and a huge thank you goes to all those generous people who sponsored the Ride & Stride or supported the concert.
